It took a lot of hard work and many sacrifices for MURPHYS to create it's own Senior Center. Through the work of dozens of community members, a supportive Faith Lutheran Church, a startup grant from the Wheatridge Foundation and one driven agent of change, Pastor Doug Merritt, MSC opened it's doors June 27, 2009. Since then the Center has grown to offer 10 different groups, a wonderfully supportive staff and still the Best Lunch in the West!
